Elisha’s journey

Hi, bloggers and people this morning I readed 2 Kings.  

They had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?” “Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied.  “You have asked a difficult thing,” Elijah said, “yet if you see me when I am taken from you, it will be yours—otherwise, it will not.”Elisha saw this and cried out, “My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!” And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garment and tore it in two.  Elisha then picked up Elijah’s cloak that had fallen from him and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan. He took the cloak that had fallen from Elijah and struck the water with it. “Where now is the Lord , the God of Elijah?” he asked. When he struck the water, it divided to the right and to the left, and he crossed over.

Elisha tore his own garment to start a new life. A life that some of us christens are afraid to enter the door that god has open for us over and over  (I myself have trouble).  Sometimes we have to let go of things to let us go forward  towards are future to god. We have all have different  things we have go give up myself it’s TV and my phone I will fast maybe for a week.  We have a new life in Christ so why not take it? And it may not be clean but life with god is bumpy it’s there to make your life better and faith deeper in him. God wants hear from his people! .  The way we get closer to are new life is talk to god and spend time with him.

So I challenged you to go fast something as long as you would like 

God loves you! Remember that

Abraham rescueing his nephew

Hello bloggers and people  i am here agian with my series “Abraham journey” you know that lot and Abraham a separated . Abraham took left and lot took right near sodom and gormora and then some 4 kings from other kingdoms attacked sodom and gormora, no one there  so the took all the people and  treasures that were in sodom and gormora , Abraham heard from someone from sodom and gormora  who escaped from the 4 kings that his nephew was captured . He gathered all the young men from his House all 318 of them attacked the 4 kings tents and got back lot and all the people who were captured and the food and treasures ect……… when he gave everything back to the kings of sodom and gormora and the people too. The king wanted Abraham to keep his thing all of it  , but Abraham gave tenth of everything back and said” i will not take even a sandle strap of yours and so you won’t be able to say that I made Abraham rich, but let ,Aner,Eshkol and Mamre have there share though “(bible gateway).  Have a great day and i hoped you enjoyed it ☺.
